JoBu is going into Pogo Studios in Champaign tonight to start on Journeys on a Beach Universe!!! well keep you updated on everything going on!!!

Hey all you JoBu fans we have been working hard during this cold spell and will be getting back on track playing a lot of shows and recording Journey's On a Beach Universe our second album! We have had a set back with Kevin leaving the band the end of January but we are stronger without him bonded by the situation and once again the original JoBu back to rock your faces off!!! Stay tune for updates every week!!

Hey everybody!! JoBu is now an official Axe body spray endorsed band. Well be playing "Look good in Leather" from the Axe caveman comercial and handing out FREE Axe Instinct products at every show. So if you smell come get some free Axe.

JoBu is now going to be playing every Monday Night starting August 17th at the Canopy Club here in Champaign. Were going to be doing a great mix of some original material and awesome drinking music too. We got a $2 you call it specail ( anything for 2 bucks ) and theres never a cover. So come party for $2 Too Wild Mondays!!!!!

Big news yall, JoBu has a new Member. The planets have aligned and we have acquired great vocalist and keyboardist Kevin McHugh. Previously of other great champaign band Underpaid Packy. Check out his bio and come get some at a show near you.

JoBu Fans...We are playing at the Great American BBQ in Kansas City this Memorial Day May 22 and 23. JoBu is the first band to play under the lights to open the 3 day fest Friday at 8 and Saturday at 2. This is the largest stage in Kansas and is an estimated attendance of 100,000 people!!! Hey Everybody great news, Andrew just got a Artist Endorsement from Music Man Basses. Andy is so excited and couldn't be happier to be a part of the Music Man team. He's got a brand new custom bass in the oven now, and it should be out rockin shows with Andy in about a Month!!!

JoBu and the crew are headin down to Key West FL for 7 shows in a row at the famous Hogs's Breath. The shows are March 9th through the 15th. Got spring break plans yet?????

We have recently started to establish street teams in cities all over the Mid-west and are looking for people to help out Jobu with promotions. It is generally easy, we send you the flyers and demos to you, and you disperse them with your great knowledge and know how of your specific area. Also, just simply spread the word about the music or what ever it is you like or enjoy about Jobu.
People who decide to take the next step and join the Jobu Family Street Team will have free admission to most all Jobu shows with the exception of certain music festivals and events. And will also get special prices and opportunities for merchandise and music.

You know that feeling you get at a show? When the band, the crowd, everyone involved connects for that one moment in time or space where nothing is better. You and everyone around you are feeling the excitement, all individual beings, but still connected. A group gathered at a certain time and a certain place, all awaiting that moment wondering when it will happen. A few mild musical climax's and you start to feel it in your bones. The excitement builds, the earth seems to shake and then, BAMM! It happens. You are instantly connected to hundreds around you and instantly granted bliss unlike any worldly known substance or product can provide. That moment you experience lives at that exact moment in time for ever. Returning at times in different doses, but non quite the same as that one time. Some strong, Some weak, Some short, Some long, but the feeling lives on. At that time and place.

Hey everybody, We just got our Fall tour all set up. There are going to be a bunch of shows all over the midwest, with a bunch of great bands. We are playing an awesome show for Halloween this year; we'll be playing with Corn Meal at the Canopy Club in our new hometown Champaign!
